It's ugly as hell. Do you remember the band Flock Of Seagulls? Think that... I'm not sure what "scene" hair is, but I think guys with emo hair usually dye it black, and it's sometimes long in the front, worn over one eye. It's gross. :D

I truly do not beleive you are old... matter of fact your are really young. Not knowing these things do not make you old.. it just shows that you are not up to date with some of the slangs of today.(That is absolutely not a bad thing.

Im 15 and i have no idea what either of those things mean...that doesnt make me old. So it definitly doesnt make you old.

your not old .. just alot of people don't understand teenage styles/trends .. some teenagers don't even understand but it depends where you come from and if there is alot of people in your area that look this way

emo hair is normally black with a side fringe going over your eyes.. girls have longish hair and boys have slightly long hair with it spiked up or completely straight

scene hair could be either bright blonde/white, black, or brown sometimes with random colours like pink, purple, blue, or blonde .. etc

scene hair is teased/backcombed alot and uses alot of hairspray

both styles have very choppy layers and the hair is really straight

i would say it is kindof a mix of scene and emo. I personally dont care for it that much i like the long ends that hang down more in scene hair and that just has more choppy layer, but i like it.

Well, it seems ridiculous that you asked because I would consider it one of the most "scene" haircuts I've ever seen. As for what I think, to be honest, I love it. I've always had a soft spot for "scene" hair. The label is irrelivant because it is just a cool, different (even though a lot of people have it now), crazy hair style. I think it's great.

I'm currently in highschool... 2 yrs ago my first time in highschool most of the students love emo/scene kind of haircut even musics with emo genre... but recently I think it was last year that emo went out and got so popular that everywhere my head would turn I can see guy having those kind of haircut... It does look good.. But NOT to ALL guys and girls. Some people looks dirty with that kind of hair. I did have that 1 sided bangs since grade 6. But the fact that others were covering their eyes with their bangs makes me think that their looks were dirty, NOT COOL and absolutely NOT CUTE.. (and now our school is very strict when it comes to the bangs... they would file a violation report against you for letting your bangs cover your eyes...) And it causes pimples and black heads most of the time.. Maybe it also depends on how that person carries that look... Thanks for the time...

I actually like the hair you're aiming for. Usually I'm not for the scene-style, but the hair is so artistic and creative. As for the hair style on your face shape, I'd say, go for it. You have a very slender face and very pretty eyes and I think that you could pull off the hairstyle wonderfully. Try not to pay attention to people saying it's like a poser, because if the hairstyle is your style, then nothing could be less like it!

they sell fake and real hair. Fake hair is shitty and is hard to deal with and you cant straighten it, and the point of scene hair is pin straight hair. So your better off with human hair.

Human hair is super expensive tho. Its like 70 bucks for a row.

Then you have to either get the kind you clip on, sew in or glue on. Clip ins are okay, annoying to deal with. Sew in is okay, but its expensive. And to glue it in costs over 700 dollars.

styling scene hair can be really easy and sometimes fun.

first you'll need.

1. really razored and textured layers that gradually decrese till you reach the bottom of your hair.

these layers will really help when it comes to styling your hair =]

2. a rattail comb/teasing comb/and comb

although a brush will do. a comb is so much better.

3. hairspray.

not hairsquirt. hairspray. haha

you might wanna put a leave in conditionor before you start teasing/backcombing your hair [but thats optional]

mkay.

It looks kinda cool. I don't know how you would do it, put if you printed them pictures and took them to a worthy hairdresser they could tell you and maybe cut your hair that way, because all it is is little layers that are spiked up. Good luck!

Ok. you need straightened, slightly dirty hair with short and medium layers, a fine-ish comb, hairspray and mouse and a multi-setting hair dryer.

start at the crown of your head and lift up the top layer, now tease the underneath of the top layerand spray HEAPS!!,, until it sticks up by itself.

now repeat this the whole way around your head [except bangs] then flatten your hair down until it just looks veryy poofy.

now comb VERY lightly the top top top bits of the poofy bits so it covers the messy tagled bits.

now grab a small section of the top bit and smother it in mouse, hold it sticking up and blow dry it on a low, cold setting and then hairspray HEAPS!

repeat this around the crown of your head and then hairspray even more, lol! emphasis on the hairspray!

just to let you know, myspacers and stuff only do their hair like this to take photo's of, so if you are planning on going out with hair like this then dont expect it to last long,

I'm explaining the hairstyle from the 1st link!

For this hairstyle u need to have layers and a fringe.

U need very very strong hair gel or spray(I suggest u but Schwartzkopf titan looks) and a comb.

Take the hair from the top of your head and some from the back(the shorter layers) and comb it up. Use hair gel to make it stiff.

You don't even need a hair cut to get "Scene" hair all you need to do is tease it at the top so it is extra poofy.

that's all a scene hair style is.

so that means that you can get any hair style you want and make it into a scene hair style. or you can choose to not tease it that day and it won't be poofy at all.

OH OH OH.

Easy; I do something like that too my hair almost every day :D

You need to tease it; ALOT.

First, start on the top, hold a chunk of hair, not too big, but also not too thin, and drag a fine-toothed comb [they work best] from the top down to the root, until the hair can stand up by itselft.

Then spray the chunk with hairspray, just enough to make it a little stiff; too much hair spray weighs it down and it wont stay up.

Then repeat by teasing more chunks along the sides, then finally the back. If you do it right, it should turn out like that and stay up pretty well.

If you want it bigger, and choppy-ish, comb it down less when your done.

If you want it smoother and more round; comb it more.

Don't use the silky and smoothe shampoo----do you see her hair being silky OR smooth? No. So use a different shampoo, just a regular washing one. And only use the hairspray-no mouse, mouse will just weigh it down and what you want is more volume.

To get the volume like she does and the piece-y look, you'll need to tease your hair. Take a SMALL toothed comb and back-comb it.

your hair looks like u could pull off the scene look. keep in mind that a lot of pictures u see of scene haircuts had them specially done...a lot of short, shoppy layers at the top, and even extensions. it is a rather hard hairstyle to maintain...but if u have the right cut, all you really need to do is volumize the roots a ton (i mean a ton...spray/mousse it a lot and blow dry upside down with a large round brush), tease all the hair at your crown and spritz it in hairspray, and straighten the ends if you have to (make sure u use a heat protectant). shampoo every other day, but condition as often as possible, and use deep conditioner every now and then because straightening your ends a lot destroys them. also if you have naturally flat hair you may need to cut your bangs a little short to give them the volume you desire. i cant tell from the picture if your hair has layers or not but they are pretty much required for a scene hairstyle. also your hair looks really healthy and shiny..keep it that way! im jealous! good luck :)

hmm. i think you should definantly invest in a good hair straightner. it will keep your hair straight which with make your haircut noticable.

every scene girl has puffy hair on the top [crown] and 90% of them have extension [clip-ins are popular].

notice, the hair above scene girls are much thicker than the lower shouder ones.

So i suggest you should go with shoulder-long layered hair [tons of layer/ choppy] and buy clip-ins extensions to lengthen ur hair.

They usually tease their hair but for you, no need to tease it, just a brief texturize gel is enough.

Grow you hair out for a little while, then get a body wave or a combing curling iron.

A body wave will give you the soft curls you are looking after just washing your hair. The combing curling iron you'll have to use each morning, but it will make you hair silky and curl the ends either under or out.

you have to have the personality to do that

if you know your confident and dgaf what ppl think about you then you could deff pull it off, but if u have low confidence and get pushed down easily then dont do it.
