Tips for cutting scene hair.?

Honestly, no pun intended, to get an emo-esque sense of hair, I just layer my hair with a razer.

Go into your bathroom and take a pair of scissors. Looking in the mirror, try long bangs (considered a must have for "emo/scene" hair. Than cut the rest of hair to desired length. Add layers at random intervals. Stop, look in the mirror than decide where you need to add more.

This works pretty well, it worked for me.

I have "scene hair" and I cut it myself. :]

Wash, straighten, and part your hair the way you want it first. Then get some scissors. When you're cutting it, make sure you soften the ends so your hair won't look blocky. And make sure to cut lots of short layers in it around your head, and have thin, long points of hair at the bottom.
