How can you get the scene hair if your hair is curly?

How can you get the scene hair if your hair is curly? I mean i have curly hair and I have to straighten it...I want the appearance of thinner hair, without extensions, and choppy parts without it looking totally AD. What hair products or w/e should I use?

Well if you don't have layers it isn't really seen but w/e...So you stairghten it which is good. All you hafta do it tease your hair just get a comb and some hair spray and get about 1 inch of hair and spray it then tease it.*should look like statue of liberty* Then after you finish your whole head gently brush it out...That's it then use a clip OR a bow.=D

My hair is super curly, but I have insanely wicked bangs, which definatly would fit the "scene" crowd. I have to straighten them every day, but it actually looks quite nice with my curly hair.
