What can I do with my scene hair?

I have the standard issue "scene girl" hair (short and blonde on top, black and long underneath). Homecoming is in one week and I can't figure out anything to do with it. There isn't enough long hair for an updo, and I'll shoot myself before I jump on the bandwagon and get those extra crispy curls that EVERYONE gets.

Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a picture of my hair:

you're very pretty and here's what i think you should do.

go to a hair salon and have them updo the bottom part. and pin back the top it'll work.

Wow, you look a lot like Ashley Tisdale. Not the point.

Anyways, I think you'd look nice if you got an inch or two cut off and I think it would look good if it were all blonde. But it's totally up to you. I'm just making a suggestion, I'm no expert. I'm not preppy either, so I'm not a big hair person...

The thing was that the black looked kind of... greasy from the picture. I thought the blonde looked better.

not be scene.

Why don't you temporary dye it to one color and then do a up do, leave it down, use a headband, or clip it in some fashion.

Why not try the new Jessica Simpson clip in hair extensions?

You could get a blonde one to match your haircolor on the top of your head. Then you pin up the black hair in back and put on the extension. You won't have an updo but you will have long sexy wavy (or straight) hair for your big night!

Here is the link to the website. Click on the "Salon Locator" button on the left and put in your zip code to find a store that sells them near you.

HINT: if you can find a "Trade Secrets" store in your area and buy from them, they will teach you to put it in yourself for free.
