Process from wet hair to scene hair?

so my daughter just got her haircut, and just washed her hair, now its just looks layered, is she suppose to blowdry or dry it with a towel for the 'scene' look?

Process from wet hair to scene hair?

It kind of depends on what kind of scene hairstyle she got, but heres how you generally style scene haircuts:

Dont use a blowdryer cause that will make it look really fluffy and weird. Just dry with with a towel a bit, then style it the way it supposed to be styled. Then wait awhile for it to airdry. Once thats done, tell her to straighten it if it isnt already straight. After that, tease the layers and hairspray it so it stays in place. That should give her a sceneish look.

Well if its curly, she should straighten it first.

but if her hair is straight then let it air dry,

and then finish with styling products to give it volume.

like hairspray.

I used Big sexy hair hairspray and Bed head manipulator to keep it in place.

She should tease it with a teasing comb.

The bigger the better ;D

dry with a towel as much as she can, then blow dry it from the top, so the air pushes it down straight.

if her hair is straight, then she could straighten it (or if she wants, make it curly).

also tease it around the crown and up to make it a little 'bouncier' or 'poofier'.

If she wants it to be straight, try using a round hairbrush. Wooden is best because it retains the static. To add more volume and make her hair a little less flat, try teasing the hair from the roots out.

If she wants her hair to have a that 'just left the beach' look use a pump-hairspray bottle (White Rain extra hold) while her hair is still wet after she gets out of the shower.

Have your daughter brush her wet hair out straight, then mess it up again with her hands (to minimixe tangles) then spritz the hairspray into her wet hair as she blow dries and scrunches her hair at the same time.

Wa-ah!! Fun Hair!!
