yeah it can work you just have to add volume yourself by brushing your hair up other ways and adding some moose.

You can work with it once you get the cut.

use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner. don't get too many layers, it makes fine hair look flat. learn to tease your hair, and use products for body and volume... and apply at the crown.
