What is "scene" hair?

I have seen a couple questions pertaining to this and I want to know what the heck it is. Just curious.

What is "scene" hair?

Its emo, but not really. Rather than the choppy hair cut with bangs covering an eye, scene is more of an edgy, off beat, and certainly original hair style. Usually scene hair cuts have long hair sticking up, or have parts of the hair colored unnatural colors, like red. The hair cut usually goes with light foundation and lots of eye liner. Kind of scary actually.

Usually chicks like that aren't the "hot" ones and don't fit the idea of beauty on the street. And anyone with a scene hair style really just wants to be isolated, and very different than most "normal' people. Its like a way of sticking it to the man in a way, you know "life sucks so I'm going to go chop my hair up now" kind of thing.

If anyone reading this is scene that's not an insult to them, but that's just how they choose, or at least the way it looks, to come across. They did their hair and makeup like that, I didn't tell them to do it.

Its really outrageous rocked out hair. Usually bleached blonde or pitch black with bright colors thrown into it. Very cute look but expect alot of glares sometimes!

There are lots of different "Scene Hair" styles. Some people have it long with crazy colors, ie; pink, red, yellow, green, rainbow. Others their hair cut short and teased.
