Well having a hairstyle obviously doesn't mean just the skin color, so I guess it'll help if you put up a picture.. But personally, I don't really think it'll look good; not all people could pull off that look =/

Ummm. Idk for an 11 year old? "scene hair" implies living a certain life style and i don't know that it is suited for an 11 year old..... Maybe you should have her get a longer version of that in case she doesn't like it that way she can always grow it out to normal layers again. As for the whole skin tone issue it doesn't really matter. If her hair is coarse or thick it may be an annoyance for her to straighten her hair EVERYDAY. I mean EVERYDAY.

If that's what she wants then why does it matter? It is her hair. If she decides she doesn't like it it's not the end of the world, her hair will grow.

And to the person who said having scene hair implies a certain lifestyle, that's not totally true, you can have the hair and have a different lifestyle. Maybe she just likes the style.
