I want scene / emo hair?

my hair is about 3 or 4 inches past my shoulders and i really wanna keep the length. I want some red, purple, or blue in it. or just blonde. but mostly black. any ideas? pictures and links are appricieated [:

these people have no idea what scene/emo hair is. or at least whats in. there judging by there bias selves, and how they personally feel about the people that give scene and emos a bad name.thought mostly, there all above 40-and not sure what exaclt emo or scene is. but there style is all too fine.

probally get lots of layers, random patches of color in your hair(preferably all black, with a patch or red, or blue, or blonde. dont mix in the colors that wont go, it'll look tacky . tease, and use some product.

that there, is the basic scene hair. emo hair, is basically just bangs, layers, and have some hair that'll be in your face. scene will suit better.

Oh, God... First of all, how about this: BE YOURSELF. Second, if you insist on being a scenester, couldn't you pick a better one than whiny, annoying, lame-@$$ emo?!?

Most "scene" and "emo" haircuts are shorter with lots of choppy layers and bright colors. The best way to find idea's for haircuts and styles is on myspace. It's easy to browse through profiles and find ones that look good. Start by going to band pages, you know "emo" bands and whatnot. Then go through the people that left comments. Find something you like and print it out then bring it in to a salon.

I'd sugest getting some layers cut in and then do strips of bold color and bleach blonde. =)

Dude... I think that sounds like a great thing to do... I love changing my hair all the time with color. One way thats really fun is to add extentions that are clips, that way you dont have to cut or dye you real hair... if not try checking out pictures on myspace, the emo scene kids their are always on the ball with the best hair. :) You can check me out too if you like, some of my friends on myspace can give you some ideas for hair.

try researching some japanese hair cuts. you know what i found really irritating? yeah, i like indie and rock (but i prefer classical over them generally). anyhow, i style my hair in a japanese way and this damn customer at work asked me blunt if i was an emo. ok. so maybe this is complimentary to some people, but not to me!!!

check out fruits, an art book on japanese street fashion. you'll notice they have funkeh hair in all varieties of colour!!! now that's originality if you're in a western society.
