What does it mean if you want to have "scene" hair?

Scene hair are these terrible haircuts that emo kids and kids who only listen to crappy independent bands wear. They usually involve random lengths with some parts being longer than others, bad bang frame jobs, or really chopped up hair.

If you want to have scene hair, you want to express yourself using your wacked-out hair! :D Or, express a certain style, anyway.

I wouldn't say scene hair is exactly... what everyone else has.

Different people have different definitions of it.

But what she probably means is:

Big, poofy, colorful, crazy. Tons of layers. Extensions. Usually side-swept bangs.

If it scares you...

Know what, it's her head. Please don't try to keep her from it.

If she likes it, let her express herself!

{Although the 'scene kids' are usually all the same. You may just want to keep her from being like the rest of them, but if she likes the style, so be it.}
